I dont want to be a home-wrecker or whatever, she says.

(This whole conversation is essentiallythisCrazy Ex-Girlfriendsong.)
Nick assures Frances his marriage has survived plenty of affairs, but hes never been the one to cheat.
Not exactly the worlds most trustworthy source on the matter!
But Frances is delighted and, thus absolved, says they should go upstairs.
(I will also hand it to Mr. Alwyn: His hair looks A++).
(Girl, hey go to therapy!)
Bobbi told Frances this was a symptom of my repressed nature.
Frances insists she feels great, and she saysthank you, and I want todie, oh myGod.
Wouldnt she have talked herself out of it if she were overthinking her moves here?
She seems to be deliberatelynotthinking about it.
Nick announces hell be going to Scotland in a few days for a TV thing.
He withholds this information until later.
Just based on how he talks when someone else isnt writing his dialogue … this absolutely tracks.
(Would a New Yorker ever say, Ive just the one?)
Bobbi wants to watch and mock one of Nicks movies.
Frances is clearly disinterested and correctly says Bobbi is being mean.
The most cutting observation she could make!
comment, Bobbi leaves.
Frances gets a text summoning her back to Nicks.
), ask Nick how he and Melissa met.
Frances says her entire romantic history is just Bobbi, to which I say, Duh!
Youre like 21 years old!
She wants to know what will happen after this, and he (of course!)
Frances wakes up to an email from Bobbi.
Very different energy from a text, no?
Nick promises to call her.
Rough goodbye and also: pots and kettles, no offense.
All she gets back is a yeah.
I write-scream in my notes, PUT DOWN THE PHONE, FRANCES.
Or is that over now?
Which isquite the interesting thing to put in a text message.
Ugh, maybe they deserve each other, I dont even know.
Frances emails Bobbi an apology why?
She also teases Frances about liking Nick more than Melissa does.
Does Bobbi listen to a single word Frances says in this entire episode?
Or pick up on the tension or vulnerability in the things Frances doesnt say?
see you then?Threeperiods.
