I dont want to count that.
Or have one full story line that is just a dream sequence that came out of nowhere?
It all felt a little pointless.
Its a shame because, in theory, Im here for an episode devoted to Meredith and her sisters.
Sure, why not?
They have stuff they could get into.
But this episode is not that episode.
Instead, The Makings of You sets each sister off in their own story line.
Meredith heads to Nicks cabin in Minnesota.
She is never with them!
Instead shes with Nick!
And a person named Silver!
Shouldnt Meredith tend to her own garden for a little?
Not right now, I guess.
He is scared of Charlotte going down the same path as her mother, Nicks sister.
Season 18 ofGreys Anatomyhas no rules.
Now Nicks ironic use of the phrasesick full moon ceremony?
Scott Speedmans comedic timing onGreysis a thing of beauty.
I dont think it matters?
He has been on his own, making these decisions alone for so long.
He also admits that he has been thinking about quitting his job.
Meredith is, apparently, also contemplating a different future for herself.
She has wondered if she can really go back to being chief of general surgery at Grey Sloan.
Thats a surprising statement.
This feels good and right.
Lets talk about Maggie.
The one good thing she did was find Maggies adoptive parents because Maggie was better off with them.
Also, Maggies dead adoptive mother shows up in the dream to hug her.
I dont know; Im just reporting the facts, people.
The problem is that there was no buildup to this fever dream or these epiphanies about Ellis.
Theres no plot development or catalyst for any of this.
Everyone is feeling so dissatisfied these days, huh?
And then there is Amelia.
Amelia is in Minnesota with Kai, finishing up the report on Hamiltons surgery.
This is a report about an experiment that could cure Parkinsons!

Amelia seems fine with it.
She and Kai head out to the bar where Kai pulls a little surprise, Im in a band!
Amelia is super into it, because then they head back to Kais for a very steamy sex scene.
Kai doesnt really respond to this?
