No oneyells at cloudsbetter thanBrian Cox.

Below, somehighsandlowsfor Brian Coxs PR team.
They sound absolutely terrifying.
Thats what they do, dont they?
He said, Well, people dont like that.
And you go, Oh, for Christs sake!
Call something what it is as opposed to something that you think it should be.
And it is its the cancel culture.
I keep well away from it.
Maybe he thought this was something else entirely.
We never would have guessed Logan would share a plotline withRebecca Bunch.
Theyre much more discerning.
But they were whooping and hollering.
It was unlike anything Ive seen before.
On Michael Caine: I wouldnt describe Michael as my favourite, but hes Michael Caine.
And being an institution will always beat having range.
On Johnny Depp: Personable though Im sure he is, issooverblown, sooverrated.
I mean,Edward Scissorhands.
And subsequently, hes done even less.
On Quentin Tarantino: I find his work meretricious.
Plot mechanics in place of depth.
Style where there should be substance.
I walked out ofPulp Fiction… That said, if the phone rang, Id do it.
Cox says he was offered the role of Robert Baratheon onGoTand said no because the pay was piss poor.
So I passed on it, and Mark Addy was gored by the boar instead.
He pushed for it … and people kept warning him about it.
In a sense, he got hoisted by it, and I think it was unfortunate.
But we weather it because we love him.
Cox added that the profile put the sensitive actor in a vulnerable position.
To which Cox replied with the now-immortal words, No, no.
Listen, Im too old, too tired, and too talented for any of that shit.
We are really, surprisingly, intuitively literate.
We know about subject, verb, and object.
We deal with that every day.
And a lot of directors havent a fucking clue about that.
Not only is Cox implying that directors, unlike actors, cant read, but he getsspecificwith it.
Logan Roy comes alive when Cox picks the most unexpected of battles.
When asked byThe TimesifSuccessionwill have a fifth season, he answered, I dont know.
No ones had their contracts renewed.
Who knows how long it will go on?
We dont want it to overstay its welcome likeBillions; thats past its sell-by date.
That will not happen with our show.
We predict the next update to this list will be Cox throwing hands with Paul Giamatti.
Theres nobody better to say that, as a woman.
Anyone can talk abouttheir ownbody as much as theyd like, Brian.
Thats not really why people are upset with Joanne, now is it, Brian!!
Cox says Strongs a very good actor but that his commitment is not only baffling but unnecessary.
At the end of the video, Cox says, Hes fantastic!
Hes the best drama student Ive ever had!
There is something in the little boy that is able to convey the character, Cox tellsTown & Country.
Its just there and is accessible.
Its not a big fucking religious experience.
Hes still that guy, because he feels if he went somewhere else hed lose it.
When youve got the gift, celebrate the gift.
Go back to your trailer and have a hit of marijuana, you know?
from the British monarchy: Its not viable; it doesnt made any sense.
That first parts all well and good.
Im a Cinderella person, you know.
He doesnt explain what he means by that last part, but it paints a great mental image.
Hes apparently looked into who the main culprits are.
It turns out its usually a bunch of millennials, he says.
But its from the wrong principle.
It comes from the wrong place.
I look at people running, and I go, no.
Dont run, he says.
Theyre gone, Cox reflects.
And I just go, Stupid.
I was in my 50s when I made that move.
British agents are always saying, well, you know, [the production] has got certain problems.
I am not fucking interested in their problem.
Im only interested if they pay the money.
Cox also says, unprompted, that Ed Norton is a bit of a pain in the ass.
But Cox has got to hand it to him because he likedMotherless Brooklyn.
(He also says he wouldve done a better job.
in the role.)
He elaborates, Most critics are stupid.
Theatre criticism has gone right down the tubes.
You think of those wonderful critics of the past, theres nobody to match them now.
Because they dont do their homework.
He thinks people who follow the Bible believe it cause theyre stupid enough.
And I think its beginning to implode, actually.
Youre kind of losing the plot.
They make a lot of money.
You cant knock it.
