We were told that hip-hop was a fad.
I was like,Thats what I want to do.
I want to be like those guys.
And so I set out on my journey.
Unlikesome of the evenings other inductees, Jay-Z chose not to perform a medley of hits in celebration.
(His wife, Beyonce, wasnt in the audience.)
