Would they overlook this egregious racism from the newest face of country, the man withthe No.

1 album in Americafor three weeks and counting?

By Wednesday morning, Wallens music had been scrubbed from terrestrial radio and streaming playlists.

By afternoon, his label, Big Loud Records, hadsuspended himindefinitely.

Come evening, the Academy of Country Music announced that Wallen was officially ineligible for 2021 ACM Awards consideration.

The news about Morgan that broke does not represent ALL of country music.

As you might see, it represents some.

This is not his first time using that unacceptable racial slur and we all known that.

So what exactly are yall going to do about it.

Crickets wont work this time.

The news out of Nashville tonight does not represent country music.

We all know it wasnt his first time using that word.

We keep them rich and protected at all costs with no recourse.

The innumerable Black artists and execs who didnt get as far as Guyton or Watkins know, too.

Well rot from the inside out.

To be clear: This isnt low-hanging fruit.

Now it lies on the ground, rotting.

In the meantime, education is in order for country-music apologists like Ballerini and Pope.

Unfortunately, this is also the work that country music has rarely been hard-pressed to see through.
