What would you say Americans find most funny about Australians?I guess they think we wrestle crocodiles.
They kind of think were stupid as well, which I dont mind.
You know, if you think were all like Steve Irwin, thats okay by me.
Because people love doing their impression of an Australian no to me.
I get thata lot.
Your character inKilling Itis so optimistic in the face of overwhelming reasons not to be.
Its somewhat similar to your character onLove.
But when I got the part inLove, it wasnt a specific part.
They knew Id be playing Gillian Jacobss roommate, but I think theyd written a much cooler character.
And I think they were like,Oh, thats funny.
So I cant really say that the American dream is not real and that it doesnt work like that.
I was really lucky.
Its really a bunch of rich guys who are the ones making money.
But we, the very young people working there, just needed money for rent.
It was like,Im working for bad guys.
I really just need some money.That was a pretty grim job.
Were you interrupting people during dinner?Absolutely.
You dont have to come to this seminar, they would generally let me do it.
That week I was the top seller.
But I was, you know, lying.
Jillian is a really bad liar.
Why do you think liars are so funny?Because lying is so embarrassing!
Especially when youarebad at it.
Its like Elizabeth Holmes putting on that deep voice.
Thats so funny because its like,We can all see what youre doing.

Especially when youre preparing a recipe that involves cucumbers on television?
Its an incredible thing to do.
It actually makes you kind of stressed out because youre constantly lying to people.
It was a bad situation.
How much did you have to interact with actual snakes while filming?Very little, really.
But whenever were killing snakes, obviously theyre rubber snakes.
Your previous experience working with snakes didnt end up being relevant at all?No.
So I just let it go wild inside my costume.
And I was like, This is horrible!
