You could end up reliving some of your worst moments!
You could be inviting stress in!
We live in 2024.
None of us need to be inviting extra stress in, my babies.
And yet there are some really great shows about restaurant life that you just dont want to miss.
15.Bobs Burgers

Oh dear, sweetBobs Burgers!
But watching Bobs Burgers, now,thatis one of the most wonderful ways to pass the time.
Its silly and warm and the Belchers really care about one another.
Antacid count:Zero needed.
14.Two Guys, a Girl and a Pizza Place

Dairy baby, now thats stressful.

Antacid count:This show is a wild, wacky balm, so zero antacids.
I will, however, take at least three deep-V tees in Daves honor, okay?

Antacid count:One for justthinkingabout how they keep straight which of their rotating uniforms to wear each night.

- before she almost has a panic attack, but after that Tess … mostly stares at people?
Theres a lot of staring going on at this restaurant.
Antacid count:One, but only because Tess is really creeping me out with all the staring.
10.The Monster Foodies Truck Sketch onSesame Street

IsSesame Streetmainly a stress-free watch and also meant for children?
Sure, fine, yes to both of those questions.
Neither of these guys is wearing hairnets and they are legit like 95 percent hair.
9.Franks Place

Oh, you want to hear about stress?
Let me tell you about Frank.
If he returns home, his life will basically blow up.
Running a restaurant with the fear of a literal curse hanging over your head?
Antacid count:Two.
8.The Perfect Match(Taiwanese drama)

Honestly, the restaurant stuff is the most calming bit!
Huo Ting En might run a tight ship, but hes generally an understanding boss.
(Spoiler alert: They do!)
Antacid count:Three and a half.
Two because at its baseline, romance is stressful.
Still, yay love!
Literally one of his first lines in the entire series is Im Gareth Blackstock.
I am seriously unpleasant.
The show is a comedy and much of Gareths dressing down of his staff (and guests!)
is played for laughs, but I think the laugh track might make it worse?
6.Aftertaste

Eastons massive ego might only be outmatched by his temper.
The biggest stressors here are simply how much pressure both Easton and Diana put on themselves.
Antacid count:Four.
Watching a room full of diners realize how theyre supposed to eat that really soothes the soul.
5.Oh My Ghost!
Shin Soon-ae died a virgin and believes her unfinished ghost business is to get laid.
Oh, theres no HR department at this restaurant in case that wasnt already clear.
4.Feed the Beast

Thirio actually seems to run pretty smoothly considering things.
A gas leak smell can be faint, but come on!
He lives and dies by the power of his nose!
3.Kitchen Confidential

Theres lots of fast-paced, bustling kitchen moments, but those are mostly fun.
I find both of those things stressful for very different reasons!!

If the wordcacophonywas a TV series, it would be this one.The Bearis loud and sweaty and frenetic.
People are always yelling.
Why are they always yelling?!
In the kitchen, it never stops moving and everything feels suffocating, both emotionally and physically.
