A24 has acquired North American rights for the Marcel the Shell With Shoes On stop-motion movie, which premiered at the 2021 Telluride Film Festival. The film is based on Dean Fleischer Camp and Jenny Slate’s YouTube shorts. Slate will voice Marcel.
