And the repetition isnt just comforting; its rhetorically useful.

Its such a sermonlike form of storytelling for a reason a pastor wants you to remember the message.

Which makes Woods continual return to the theme more impressive.

You thought it was mostly a cute equipment?

Imperfect Messengerdoes echoWoods 2017 special,Father Figure, and he returns to many of the same topics.

His incredible Confederate-flag opener fromFather Figureis modulated into a shorter but just as punchy flag joke here.

The goofier parts are more delightful, the political commentary more striking.

Its also so fun to watch him play with stupid sections he cant quite pull off.

It would be fantastic, though, if this special introduced even more people to Wood.
